Purpose of the Job

The purpose of this role is to manage the manpower, equipment’s & facilities planning for the operation in order to achieve maximum productivity and reduce manpower cost through proper planning and optimum utilization of labour and provide all required administration support related to the stake-holder requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sets pragmatic operational parameters in relation to resource management, by using available technologies and real time studies on the ground.

  • Ensures that all HR and Compliance regulations are followed when setting up the resources scheduling parameters.

  •  Plans the resources required according to the operational schedules.

  • Evaluates existing operational SOP’s and recommends changes where beneficial.

  • Sets up productivity matrixes across the organization and ensure monitoring systems in place for it.

  • Advises and sets up resource scheduling and real time task assignments.

  • Sets up teams in departments that perform planning, scheduling and real time task allocation of resources utilizing best available technologies at that time.

  • Provides guidance on acquisition of new technology based solution that increase productivity.

  • Performs audit on SOP’s related to productivity of resources.

  • Produces meaningful reports based on actual data for management perusal.

  • Using data analyses identify trends and recommends remedial action to safe guard operations and revenue and control cost.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor‘s degree / Diploma within a closely related field.

Experience

  • Resource planning within aviation industry is an advantage.

  • Time and motion knowledge and experience is an advantage.

  • In-depth knowledge of all Health and Safety, Security and Industrial Relations statutory requirements

  • At least 3 years of supervisory operations experience monitoring operational activities in an Aviation Industry.

  • Strong ability in developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve objectives.

  • Excellent knowledge of principles and practices governing the operation of airports.

  • Familiar with current developments and trends in the field of airport operations and management.

  • Proven supervisory methods and techniques in managing airport operations.
