Purpose of the Job
Key Responsibilities

To accurately complete the necessary reporting forms daytoday
• Use of a baggage tug flat bed lorry and forklift trucks. After relevant training
• Familiarization of runway and taxiway designators
• Delivery of freight to the aircraft side
• Delivery of cargo to the Transfer Unit Dropoff point
• Delivery collection of Freight to from the cargo sheds As required
• Delivery collection of empty containers to from the appropriate storage area
• Reporting of defective equipment.
• Ensuring equipment is kept clean and tidy and is stored in the correct area and manner
• Ensuring any F.O.D. is dealt with appropriately
• Understanding and acting upon all prevailing Airport Notices and instructions Company instructions
• Ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to and the reporting of those that are not
• Ensuring Airport Security requirements are adhered too
• Representing The Company in a professional manner
• To work in each area of the business as requires by the workloads

Qualifications
• Familiar with SAA & SAS airside road safety policies
• Familiar with SAS warehouse safety polices.
• SAA internal driving permit to operate Fork Lifts and Tractors.
• Attended TRC and forklift training.
