Purpose of the Job
Key Responsibilities
• Planning and organizing day to day activities.
• To ensure all activities are in compliance with Sharjah Aviation Services, customer airlines and the regulators procedures
• To ensure that all Sharjah Aviation Services and Airport Authority Emergency Orders are adhered to, as required
• To ensure that the relevant, Health & Safety and company policy requirements are fully complied with
• To plan, monitor, control and complete aircraft documentation for our airline customers for and on behalf of Sharjah Aviation Services.
• To plan, coordinate and produce all loading, weight and balance documentation in accordance with airline specifications, with or without the use of the Departure Control System;
• To ensure that all Flight messages LDM/CPM and UCM messages are sent in compliance with procedures and resolve any possible communication issues, requiring non standard communication methods.
• To action any advisory messages regarding Aircraft Allocations, Aircraft Changes and any special requirements without delay.
• To take part in and successfully complete all courses that are required for performing the function of Aircraft Dispatcher
• Ensure that a comprehensive set of in-flight documentation is correctly completed and ready for collection, in line with customer airlines standard operating procedures and are collated in the correct format
• To provide the necessary legal paperwork for all aircraft dispatch functions, ensuring that these are prepared in advance.
• To continually monitor check-in for any variances to the anticipated load and to provide details to the Flight Decks/Aircraft Dispatchers of the EZFW and AZFW in compliance with the customer airlines procedures.
• To carry out other duties as appropriate in support of the business activities of Sharjah Aviation Services.
• To ensure all activities are in compliance with Sharjah Aviation Services, customer airlines and the regulators procedures.
• To be the Senior Member of staff at an aircraft arrival or departure, ensuring that the turnaround information flow is correct.
• To perform Load Control and Dispatch job function for specialised products.
• To perform the ‘6 point check’ on every Loadsheet, every time.
• To sign off the legal documentation required for any flight.
• To ensure stands are clean and free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and to dispose of any FOD found accordingly.
• To ensure all relevant staff and GSE are in attendance for aircraft arrivals at -10 minutes to ETA.
• To ensure that ramp staff provide a swift service related to passenger/baggage/cargo handling
• To ensure all relevant staff and GSE are in attendance for aircraft turnarounds and departures, as required so as to achieve on time departure
• To ensure that the airlines carry maximum payload, and to pro-actively manage the offload procedure of customer airlines, liaising with all SAS departments and external agencies or airlines, as required.
• To prepare and issue loading instructions as per the company policy and procedure;
• To ensure the safe distribution of load within prescribed aircraft limitations and Company Operating Procedures;

• To deliver excellent information distribution to all customers, both internal and external using the communication channels available, ensuring a professional and efficient service delivery at all times
• To effectively communicate with crew, traffic, ramp team and various departments (ops control/freight/ engineering / airports)in order to achieve on time departure as per airline standards
• Ensure the accuracy of final passenger figures, baggage / cargo weights, fuel figures, by verification, and confirm that dead load distribution matches on the loading report against the actual aircraft loading, ensure aircraft weight & balance conditions are within the approved safety limits.
• Carry out all pre-flight / post flight activities in accordance with standard procedures, ensuring the effective co-ordination and communication of information to/from key stake holders including Crew, Online stations, Airline representatives and other departments.
• In the event of a system failure prepares manual weight & balance documentation to ensure uninterrupted work flow.
• To make LMC Changes on load sheets, in compliance with customer airlines procedures, ensuring the legal and safety implications are observed and adhered to at all times
• To ensure that all Trip Files are properly and accurately completed and taken back to OCC for further processing and auditing.
• To ensure company’s uniform and grooming standards are being adhered to at all times.
• To assess the procedures of Sharjah Aviation Services continually for possible improvement.
• To ensure that load control competency certificate and any other training records are current as per the airline/ airport procedure.
• Adhere to the company Safety Compliance Policy, Security Policy and Health & Safety Policy.

Qualifications
• High Secondary, Diploma or equivalent
• Current Load Control (W&B) license is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices governing the operation of airports
• Excellent command of the English Language
• Driving license
Experience
• At least 2 year experience in operational activities within Aviation Industry
• Previous experience and/or understanding of the ramp operation
• Ability to work under pressure and to very tight deadlines
