Station Engineer - Islamabad
- Oversees the Line Maintenance & MCC activities with MRO team of engineers and technicians as per adopted procedures and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Reviews assigned maintenance work to gain full understanding of tasks, their relative priorities, documentation requirements and cautions, prior to starting work.
- To oversees the scheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring that the required documentation, parts, tools and GSE are obtained and used for each task.
- Monitor defect troubleshooting and rectification by MRO in-accordance with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and instructions provided by the MCC and Engineering departments.
- Protects airworthiness, ensuring aircraft are dispatched in a fully compliant condition and configuration, inspected and tested in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Monitor maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of authorization, verifying that the aircraft technical log and associated documents have been completed to the required standard following completion of all maintenance.
- Manages communications within cross functional departments, MRO, CAMO, Flight Crew and MCC related to the assigned tasks, providing accurate, timely reports on the readiness and airworthiness of the aircraft.
- By proper work planning, decision making and communications, ensures that maintenance tasks of MRO are carried out whenever possible within the planned ground time to avoid operational delay.
Safety
- To oversees the safety of assigned maintenance activities, ensuring all published mandatory precautions are taken prior to commencing work and during task execution.
- Takes positive steps to protect self and other persons in the area of the maintenance activity from any possible injury, including the use of proper GSE and protective equipment.
- Monitor the compliance of human factors aspects of maintenance, ensuring that the continuity of critical maintenance tasks is protected, by avoidance of task interruption and the proper use of handover procedures.

- Maintains positive awareness to the cost of aircraft maintenance including use of time and materials. Minimizes unnecessary waste of consumable material and part repair cost by avoiding unnecessary damage and repeat work during maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Holds /has held PCAA ANO 66 - B1 Aircraft Maintenance License and company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320.
- Note: must commit to ensure any limitations removed from license within 9 months of induction.
- Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of aerospace and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Must hold valid Pakistani driving license.
Work Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
- At least 10 years’ experience in a Maintenance environment.
