Job Purpose

  • The job holder handles his/her duties within the framework of responsibilities and boundaries identified with this role and in accordance with standard practices.
  • Consults with the Manager on any non-routine action prior to executing; all duties shall be performed thru proper channel and in compliance with adopted policies and procedures.
  • To design and deliver training courses to Crew staff on SEP Modules. Ensures conformity in delivery of training in accordance with Fly Jinnah approved quality standards whilst promoting company’s culture and corporate image.

 

Key Result Responsibilities

Job Description:

 The duties and responsibilities of a GIC - Ground Instructor Cabin shall include:

  • Training should be conducted by suitably qualified instructor who have the knowledge, ability and experience to perform such training.
  • Conduct periodic pre-flight briefing checks on cabin crew and report any deviations from SOP to the CCTM for necessary action.
  • Supports the training team through the internal/external audit requirements and checks, ensures availability, update, and compliance of function-related documents, reports, attendance sheets and records with the approved standards.
  • Operates as Cabin Supervisor as and when required by scheduling; 
  • Assist in updating of CX manual, training syllabus and programs.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Prior to issue of a cabin crew instructor qualification, the following criteria should be met.
  • Minimum Three years of active flying experience as a Cabin Crew and 1 year as Lead Cabin Crew. 

After the successful completion of process the candidate:

  • will be recommended by the company to PCAA. 
  • will complete the Train the trainer course.
  • A program of familiriazation with the operator’s training, conducting training whilst under observation by a suitably qualified person, such as an experience instructor.
  • AP1(Approved Person) Exam.
  • Successful completion of selection & training process in accordance with the guidelines and competencies describe in the attachment to this ANO
  • An initial check of proficiency & program of regular checks to verify on-going proficiency. 
  • Audio Visual equipment management skills are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Good performance records and no active reminder/warning letters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and Web Search.
  • Fluent in English Language.
