Job Purpose

  • To provide support on assigned Quality & Safety activities related to Flight Data Monitoring program and Safety reporting system under the direction of line manager.
  • Follows up on corrective measures in line with Air Arabia Safety Management System and regulatory bodies’ requirements to ensure compliance with the same across assigned functions and areas of operation.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • Maintains the Quality Assurance Program adopted for internal procedures, processes and products audits, surveillance and spot checks in accordance with DAC rules & regulations and in compliance with Company’s overall policies, procedures, and company objectives. 
  • Reviews the internal quality standards and regulatory requirements on regular basis in accordance with Air Arabia Maroc/DAC approvals; highlights any variances or changes needed to the “Quality & Safety Manager” accordingly.
  • Participates in updating and communicating the regulations of DAC in the corresponding manuals such as Operations Manuals, Quality Manual etc. in coordination with Line Manager.
  • Contributes to the preparation and executing of internal annual audit plan; this includes regular audit checks, new checks, as well as urgent audit reviews; carries out assigned audit plan in accordance with approved checklists.
  • Cooperates with the department heads/managers to communicate and execute the audit schedules timely; maintains effective and on-going communication on updates to ensure successful results; sends out necessary notifications for concerned parties prior to agreed schedules to allow needed arrangements from their side.
  • Partners with Stakeholders and “Quality & Safety Manager” to gather necessary historical data, documentation, and feedback to ensure that all established operations and procedures adopted in the Company are satisfactory.
  • Identifies root causes of findings or deviations and assists in formulating and monitoring the adherence to comprehensive corrective actions for regulatory audits; records the findings and corrective actions in system for verification, follow up, and database purposes.

Key Result Responsibilities - Continued

  • Assists the “Quality & Safety Manager” in developing and monitoring the adherence to Quality Assurance policies, procedures, and manuals in accordance with Company’s requirements; supports in developing Quality Assurance awareness across the different functions through Bulletins, face to face briefing, PPT presentations, workshops, etc...
  • Performs safety and quality audits and conducts periodic review approvals on Suppliers, Vendors, Subcontractors, Simulator, Ramp and Outstations, this includes but not limited to: MROs, GHAs, Fuel Companies, Cargo, Engines, etc.; raises and follows-up on findings or corrective/preventive actions in Q-Pulse and with concerned owners.
  • Ensures effective liaison with regulatory authorities and other operationally relevant external entities.
  • Maintains and regularly updates necessary records related to Quality Assurance Audits such as personnel authorization files, dispensation files, deviations, and concessions.
  • Ensure continuous update of Quality Management System tools Q-Pulse
  • Raise proper alerts to concerned departments in case of overdue corrective actions.

  • Assist the “Quality & Safety Manager” in preparation of the Quality Review Board.
  • Alert concerned department about any SAFA finding and ask for root cause, corrective/preventive action and due date
  • Ensure follow up of corrective actions related to SAFA program and update the database accordingly.
  • Keep TCO, UK… Air Arabia Maroc databases up to date with aircraft documents and/or any aircraft change
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the line manager

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management System Or equivalent
  • Aircraft Engineer qualification would be an advantage
  • Certificates related to Auditing, Quality and/or Compliance such as IOSA or ISO would be an advantage
  • Professional membership of associations related to the Aviation/Airlines industry is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc. in English and in French is required.
  • Holding Moroccan Nationality

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of related working experience in Quality or Safety in the Aviation/Airline industry.
  • Exposure to the Civil Aviation Authorities and regulatory bodies’ legal requirements, preferably DAC and/or EASA would be an advantage
  • Familiar with regulations pertaining to flight operations, procedures, and manuals.
  • Knowledgeable with working exposure to Internal & External Audit practices.
  • Aircrafts technical knowledge and relative exposure to line operations is a plus.
  • Possesses a good knowledge in company documentation.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to details
