Job Purpose

  1. As a Product Manager Travel, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and managing travel products or services to meet the needs and preferences of customers while achieving the company's strategic objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, technology, and customer service, to ensure the successful launch, promotion, and ongoing enhancement of travel produc

Key Result Responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy and Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and target market.
  2. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer surveys to identify opportunities for new travel products or enhancements to existing offerings.
  3. Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
  4. Product Development and Management: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, including concept development, business case creation, requirements gathering, and project planning.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technology, design, operations) and external partners (e.g., vendors, suppliers) to execute product development initiatives on time and within budget.
  6. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of product performance, analyzing key metrics such as revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and market share.
  7. Identify opportunities for product optimization, enhancements, or new feature development to improve the overall customer experience and drive business growth.
  8. Marketing and Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials to drive awareness and adoption of travel products.
  9. Develop compelling messaging and positioning for travel products, highlighting key benefits, features, and value propositions.
  10. Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales collateral, pricing strategies, and sales training materials to support product launches and ongoing sales efforts.
  11. Customer Experience and Satisfaction:Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and support inquiries related to travel products, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of the customer experience.
  12. Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through product improvements, personalized offerings, and exceptional service delivery.
  13. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for travel products, including sales metrics, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and ROI.
  14. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarizing product performance, market trends, competitive landscape, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  1. Bachelors degree in Technical Engineering Computer Science Math or equivalent.
  2. Certified SCRUM Master or Professional Certified Product Owner is a plus.
  3. PMP and Prince II are added value.
  4. Solid technical background with understanding in software development.
  5. Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, JIRA.
  6. Fluent in English Language.

Work Experience

  • Proven experience (8 years) in product management, preferably in the travel industry or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Knowledge of travel industry trends, technologies, and best practices is desirable.
  • Experienced in writing user stories business requirements
  • Experienced in SCRUM methodology
  • Proven track record of successful on time delivery
  • Good understanding of UI or UX design
