Job Purpose

The HR Systems Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing HR systems and technologies to support the organization’s HR functions. This includes leading the implementation, integration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of HR software systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS, etc.) to ensure they meet the business needs and provide an efficient user experience. The role also involves collaborating with other departments, managing system upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Result Responsibilities

  • System Management:

    • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of HR systems, including HRIS (Human Resources Information System), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Learning Management System (LMS), and other related HR technology platforms.
    • Ensure system security, access control, and data integrity are maintained at all times.
    • Manage system updates, integrations, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
  • System Implementation & Integration:

    • Lead and manage HR system implementations, from selection to rollout, in alignment with business needs.
    • Work closely with IT and external vendors to integrate HR systems with other enterprise applications.
    • Train HR teams and other employees on system use and best practices.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Design and generate HR metrics, reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Collaborate with HR business partners to analyze data and trends, providing insights that drive improvements in HR practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Evaluate the functionality of existing HR systems and recommend upgrades or new systems to enhance HR processes.
    • Monitor system performance and resolve any issues or inefficiencies in a timely manner.
    • Stay current with HR technology trends and implement best practices to improve overall HR operations.
  • Compliance & Security:

    • Ensure that HR systems comply with relevant data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
    • Ensure the protection of confidential employee information in the HR systems.
    • Manage audits of HR systems and data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaboration & Support:

    • Provide support for HR team members and users across the organization on HR system-related inquiries and issues.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, finance, etc.) to ensure HR systems are aligned with overall company objectives and processes.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering,Computer Science,Technology or equivalent, Masters degree is preferred.

PMP Certification or other Project or Program Management qualification is preferred.

Fluent in English Language, Arabic is a plus.

Work Experience

  • Proven experience in HRIS management, HR systems administration, or similar roles (5+ years preferred).
  • Experience with HR systems like Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, or other enterprise-level HR software.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software, reporting tools, and data management.
  • Experience in system integrations and working with APIs is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support staff at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • IT certifications in HR system management.
