Job Purpose
- The purpose of this role is to provide the customer airline with agreed service in ground operation in flight monitoring flight update DCS support and preparing weight and balance documentation ensuring the highest performance standards in line with the Policies and Procedures of ISA
- Ensure the safety of a flight by adhering to all regulations accurate planning and recording of actual load on-board an aircraft
Key Result Responsibilities
- Planning and organizing day to day activities and to ensure all activities are in compliance with business protocol customer airlines and the regulators procedures
- To plan, monitor control and complete aircraft documentation for our airline customers for and on behalf of ISA
- To plan coordinate and produce all loading weight and balance documentation in accordance with airline specifications with or without the use of the Departure Control System
- To ensure that all Flight messages LDM CPM and UCM messages are sent in compliance with procedures and resolve any possible communication issues requiring non standard communication methods
- To action any advisory messages regarding Aircraft Allocations, Aircraft Changes and any special Responsible for ensuring a DCS or manual load trim sheet is prepared for each customer airline departure in full compliance with safety quality procedures of the customer airlines and the agreed SLA
Key Result Responsibilities-Continued
- Always follow the CLC work instruction in sequence
- To liaise with customer airlines and their contractors GHA as required to produce the required weight balance documentation
- To liaise with customer airlines and their contractors GHA as required to act as first line support for airline DCS functions including pax control functions
- To continually monitor check-in for any variances to the anticipated load and to provide details to the ground handling agents staff with the EZFW AZFW in compliance with the customer airlines procedures
- Plannng coordinating and producing all loading weight and balance documentation in accordance with airline specifications with or without the use of the departure control system
- Co-ordinating and communicating with relevant departure Airports PaxCargo engineering APM to ensure accurate load information on the load sheet
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
Fluent in English Language.
High Secondary Diploma or equivalent
Current Load Control WB license is an advantage
Excellent knowledge of principles and practices governing the operation of airports
Decision Making Critical Thinking & Active Listening
Work Experience
- At least 2 years experience in operational activities within Aviation Industry
- Knowledge of DCS in aviation
- Previous experience and or understanding of the ramp operation
- Ability to work under pressure and to very tight deadlines
- Proven skills in analysing data identifying pitfalls and recommending solutions
- Possesses effective persuasive negotiation problem solving and decision-making skills
- Employs technical expertise and interpersonal skills to execute new initiatives and achieve companys objectives
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs
