Job Title:  Manager - Control Tower (PUNE)

Reports To: Senior Manager - e-Commerce

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing and coordinating real-time logistics operations, ensuring seamless flow of goods, data, and information across the supply chain while driving efficiency, visibility, and continuous improvement through proactive issue resolution and collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Real-Time Monitoring:

• Oversee and track shipments, inventory levels, and distribution activities in real-time, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. 
•  Manage dashboards and performance indicators, driving operational excellence through enhanced visibility and proactive monitoring. 

2. Problem Solving & Incident Management:

• Identify and address potential disruptions, delays, or risks in the supply chain to minimize operational impact. 
• Coordinate responses to logistics disruptions, escalations, or emergencies, maintaining service levels and supporting operational excellence. 

3. Performance Management:

• Collaborate with logistics providers, carriers, and partners to optimize on-time performance, cost efficiency, and effectiveness. 
• Establish performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to achieve operational excellence. 

4. Data Analytics & Reporting:

• Leverage data analytics tools to interpret logistics data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. 
• Generate detailed reports on performance, cost-effectiveness, and improvement opportunities, fostering operational excellence. 

5. Technology & Process Optimization:

• Implement digital solutions and control tower technologies to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and control.
• Identify and execute process improvements, ensuring alignment with operational excellence objectives. 

6. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by focusing on efficiency, reliability, and high-quality logistics operations. 
• Regularly review and refine processes to enhance overall performance and achieve excellence in supply chain operations.

• Stay updated on changes in laws and best practices, maintaining compliance while supporting operational excellence. 
• Ensure all logistics activities adhere to company policies, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.

Education:

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Additional certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be advantageous.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar environment, with experience in control tower operations or logistics coordination.
• Previous experience in supply chain industry is mandatory.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tracking tools; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.
