Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Purpose:

Oversee and manage the financial operations. Ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to accounting principles, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the division's objectives and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting function
• Monthly accounts closing and preparation of detailed monthly MIS reports.
• Credit Control
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and MIS submission to corporate customers.
• Ensure prompt collection and minimum exposure from corporate customers.
• Monitoring customer balances/aging on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
• Vendor accounting and payments.
• Liaison with the bank
• Bank payments, accounting and preparation of cash flow statement
• Bank Reconciliation
• Payroll accounting
• Coordinate effectively with other departments like Operations, Sales, and IT.
• Report issues related to invoicing and collections to the reporting manager.
• Preparation of VAT return and filing. 
• Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education:

• Must be a qualified ACCA or MBA from a reputed institute.

Experience:

• 4-5 years of experience in freight forwarding
• Previous experience in Logistic Industry is must.
• Must have experience working with CargoWise ERP system.
