Department: Sales & Business Development

Job Summary:

Responsible for driving business growth and managing corporate and government accounts within the region, with a focus on business development, planning, organizing, and executing MICE & Leisure events. Leveraging extensive sales experience and a strong client network, the role involves developing strategies to expand market presence, secure new opportunities, and foster long-term client relationships to ensure sustained business success.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Sales & Business Development
  • Manage and grow sales within the Corporate and Government sectors in the UAE.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Achievement of sales targets and revenue expansion.

 

  1. Client Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attendees, and vendors during the event.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both clients and the company.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering tailored travel services and addressing client needs.

 

  1. Event Planning & Development
  • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets and select appropriate venues, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, catering, audiovisual needs, and accommodations.

 

  1. Marketing & Logistics Management
  • Create and implement marketing strategies to promote events, including digital marketing, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are executed as planned.
  • Develop promotional materials, including brochures, invitations, and signage.

Operational excellence

  • Assure efficient and effective sales operations, including accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Streamline client onboarding and service delivery for seamless customer experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards to maintain service quality.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism/Business Administration or a related field.
  • IATA certification will be desirable.
  • Certifications in event management or related areaCerCTop of Forms would be an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a DMC/MICE agency or hotels in a similar role in Tourism industry.
  • Atleast 2 years in the current position and company.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
