Job Summary:

 

Responsible for business development, planning, organizing, and executing (MICE) events.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Client Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, budget, and requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attendees, and vendors during the event.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Ability to identify client needs, tailor solutions to meet those needs, and close high-value deals

 

  1. Event Planning & Development
  • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Research and select appropriate venues, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including transportation, catering, audiovisual needs, and accommodations.

 

  1. Vendor & Logistics Management
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are executed as planned.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site to ensure a seamless experience.

 

  1. Marketing & Promotion
  • Create and implement marketing strategies to promote events, including digital marketing, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Develop promotional materials, including brochures, invitations, and signage.

 

  1. Post-Event Evaluation & Industry Awareness
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and gather feedback from clients and attendees.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service offerings.

 

 

Operational excellence

  • Assure efficient and effective sales operations, including accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans, including market analysis, competitor research, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Implement and enforce sales policies, procedures, and standards to maintain operational excellence

  • Fluency in English and Arabic Language (Written & Verbal)

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Travel & Tourism/ Event Management/ Hospitality or a related field.
  • IATA certification will be desirable.
  • Certifications in event management/ hotel management or related areaCerCTop of Forms would be an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a DMC / MICE agency or hotels in a similar role in Tourism industry.
  • Atleast 2 years in the current position and company.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
