Job Description: 

Job Purpose:

Responsible for managing regional accounts payable, oversee the top-up team for travel agents, handle expense and prepayment management, and maintain sales records for the Cozmo Travel (Air Arabia GSA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Accounts Payable (AP) for the Region:
    • Oversee and manage the accounts payable process for the designated region, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
    • Monitor and control the AP ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and efficiently.
    • Work closely with the finance teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Prepare and provide regular reports on AP activities and status to senior management.
  • Supervising Top-up Team – Creating G9/E5 Travel Agents:
    • Manage the top-up team responsible for creating and maintaining accounts for G9/E5 travel agents.
    • Ensure the team processes top-up requests promptly and accurately.
    • Monitor team performance and ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Expense and Prepayments Management:
    • Oversee the management of company expenses and prepayments, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
    • Maintain procedures for tracking and approving expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary constraints.
    • Monitor prepayments to suppliers and vendors, ensuring they are recorded correctly and reconciled regularly.
  • Maintaining Sales & Statements for Air Arabia GSA Supplier:
    • Manage the relationship with Air Arabia GSA Supplier, ensuring all sales and financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
    • Reconcile sales records with statements provided by Air Arabia GSA Supplier.
    • Provide regular sales reports and statements to senior management.

Operational excellence:

  • Assist in processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and accounting records.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, answering queries, and maintaining organized records.

Personal Qualities:

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of accounting principles
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and ensure seamless operations
  • Excellent English communication skills (Written & Verbal)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in commerce/finance/accounting or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Travel Management Company
  • Preferred candidates present inside KSA with transferable visa.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Oracle Fusion) would be an advantage.
